Scale Checker

A VERY simple script that checks for non-uniform scaled objects in your scene and prints them onto a script file for analysis. A rather simple utility I popped for one our guys.

    Organise Scene Selection Sets

    4 votes

This tool creates a floating window listing all of the selection sets in your current scene. You can then toggle the visibility of each set by checking the appropriate check. If you decide to add more selection sets simply re-run the script and the dialogue box will update to reflect the changes. This makes managing large files much easier!

    CenterPivot2Origin

"This one was made by request. It's really simple. It just centers the pivot of every object and moves it to the origin."

    Normal Thief

    10 votes

"This will copy the normals from a master object and apply to various target objects - based on vertex distance between them.

    Toggle Vertex Colors

    3 votes

"This macro creates a toggle button you can put in a menu or toolbar that acts as toggle for whether Vertex colors are rendered. Makes changes only at render time so your scene is unaffected.

    listControllerMan

Allows to manage list controllers the same way the motion panel does. Unlike the motion panel - this utility supports all list controllers - not just the PRS controllers.

    emptyModifier

    3 votes

a simple empty modifier to add custom attributes to via maxScript. this is basically fred ruff's Modifier-Attribute Holder.ms that shipped with max 4 without the UI labels. his script wasn't included with max 6 & i don't know why. on create do( ) -- can't get easier than that!

    ScrubbyDoo

    4 votes

ScrubbyDoo is a nearly complete rewrite of the old Scrubing MatchMover script for Max R3 from 1999.

Its main purpose is the caching and realtime scrubbing of background animations in 3ds max. In addition - this new version got a really stupid name ;o)
