Render Node Monitor

Hello!

This program is for those who work with MAX+V-RAY combo and have several render nodes.

I'm sure you have encountered many DR and Backburner problems, that you could only solve by restarting the v-ray spawner or BB server.
I used to do this with remote desktop access, or in worse case, manually back then, but now I have started to develop a system that makes this a lot easier.
I know how frustrating it is to constantly fight with this, this I wanted to help anybody that are in the same shoes as I was.

So i have developed a program for it.( called render node monitor)

Selection Palette

Selection Palette is an easy-to-use customizable tool for creating and editing visual selection sets on the fly. It is a great way to speed up your work as an animator, since you can create your own way in minutes to handle controls. It is also useful for riggers or anyone who needs a quick visual way to create selection sets.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the tool. Enjoy using it!

Maxwell Multi-Scene gallery exporter

This script exports multiple MXS files from a single 3ds Max scene by assigning different MXM files to a user specified MXM reference material. It does so through a dialog with the following features:

  • Select one or more MXM Files using a dotNet file selector
  • Select an MXM Reference material that you want to assign each MXM file to
  • Select the camera that you want to export each MXS Scene with
  • Manually override the export path (it defaults to the same path as your 3ds Max scene)

Edge Loop Regularizer EditPoly

Edge loop regularizer for Edit Poly. This script is an extended version of the well known edge loop regularizer script. This version has a ported part of the original script that can handle edit poly objects. The only drawback is that it can be slower when you are planning to use it on an edit poly object, because how max is handling edit poly modifiers. If you are planning to use it on an edit poly modifier, it might better to detach the part you want to regularize, and than attach it back when you finished the modification.

imageCompHelper

I wanted to create a script to visualize the `Rule of Thirds` inside the 3ds Max Viewport, to aid in the composition of my camera shots. Inspired by this script I also added some other overlay options. The lines inside the viewport are drawn as a kind of render effect, so no geometry is created and no camera is needed. They will interactively adjust to any image aspect and are visible in the active viewport, so switching the viewport will also move the lines there.
