This is simple script to save / collect cropped bitmaps.
It finds all bitmaps with crop and save them as new cropped jpgs.

HDR Rig

Hi there!

I've put together another small script, this time to quickly add HDR environments to your scenes. It's got a simple and intuitive interface, but I'll quickly go over some of the functionality. (There's also a video if you prefer, see below.)

Select HDR Map:
Here you can specify which map to load in to your scene's environment.

Vray HDRI Viewer

Vray HDRI Viewer is a simple and quick way of getting your HDRI's into your scene. Please note that for every HDRI the viewer requires an equivalent jpg file sized at 1000x500. I will be releasing a photoshop action to make this a little easier.

To intstal, use the maxscript menu > run script. You will then find it in "Catagory > shawvfx"

Bitmap Tracking / Resizing... is tool similar to Asset Tracking. But it gives more possibility to work with bitmaps:

- Sort files by name, image width, height, file size, path, gamma, texture name, status (Found - network, Found -  local, Not found)
- Resize selected bitmaps to 2k, 1k, 512, 256, 128, 64px and save in new folder (not available in demo)
    - easy batch resize and reconect selected bitmaps (by size) before sending to external renderfarm,
    - resize bitmaps in large animation sceens to reduce memory ussage,
- Convert... see below
- Change / Rename paths (with paths history and rename path prefix eg. change only server/drive letter)
      * Choose from path from history (already used paths in curent project)
      * Pick new path
      * Batch rename paths beginng ( drive letter or paths C:\sample\abc\ and rename them to Z:\3d\sample\abc\ )

drop All Here is new drop window for many purposes :

drag and drop:
 - multiple Max files to Merge and Auto-Relink
 - Max files with Assets to Merge and Relink
 - Max file to Open and Auto-Relink
-  XRef files + Auto-Relink Assets in XRefs (if file newer then 2009)
 - Assets files or folders to Auto-Relink
 - Folders with assets. Script will find subfolders and all files to relink missing assets.
 - Collect Assets to Project folders (with custom paths structure) + Auto-Relink them in project
 - multiple DWG files to create grouped flrplans, elevations etc (named by file (00-CAD-elev-001 etc)
 - and much more possible functions.

When you buy new model and you need to quickly merge it with auto-correct paths - just drop all here and done!
