This is the revision and combination of all Spline FFDs (Spline Deformers) that can be found over the internet, for 3dsmax. The script will be the part of the new rapidTools toolset, that will be available in the next few month.

Notice that the script is in beta phase, so it's still not available.

This is a free script, for non commercial use.

This is the perfect script to transfer your models from 3ds Max to ZBrush/Unity/UDK/...
Basically it batch exports objects to multiple files.
Supported formats : max, obj, fbx, 3ds, ase, dwf, dwg, dxf, dae.

When dealing with various bitmaps to be applied on multiple objects (i.e large video walls), this script comes really handy. The purpose is to scroll through the Multi/Sub-Object Material diffuse bitmaps and apply on one or several objects.

MB Resource Collector

Interface of MB Resource Collector 0.2 This script is something like a replacement for the File > Archive... function found in 3ds Max. It will collect ALL assets currently used in the scene file into one common directory, optionally changing/removing path names. This includes final gather maps, photometric files, environment maps, bitmaps used in a displacement modifier etc., basically everyhting that is listed in the Asset Tracking System will be collected, too.

This is useful if you want to send your entire scene with all required files to someone else in one flat folder.

Optionally, the script can change the asset path names to match the new location, either as absolute or relative path names. It can also include the currently open .max file and create a .zip archive from all collected files in one go.

A fillet tool,but for polygon object, which can maintain tangent properties to adjcent edges of an arc ,keep or ajust the Radius and number vertices for it, output a more smooth apperance. So you need not worry about your splines have not been optimized enough


Relink Bitmaps

  • Attempted to support Octane Render, but the way they are exposing their custom map types like Image_Texture are not in line with any other plugin I’ve seen, if you want Octane support, it’d be best to contact them on their forums or email directly to help me resolve the issue, they were unhelpful when I attempted to contact them to resolve this.  My forum name on Octane forums is colinsenner.

  • Long overdue change to the way missing bitmaps are displayed, they are now displayed filename first, as requested by 100s of you.  Sorry this took so long.

Relink Bitmaps is a script to easily relink all missing files (Bitmaps, VRayMeshes, Mental Ray Proxies, VRayHDRI, IES, etc) when they change directories or when you move computers, check out the short video tutorial below for more detailed information.

Unlike some other scripts of its kind, this is free!  There is a small donation link within the script if you choose to donate, I will remove the nag.  It is a simple licensing system, that does not force you to transfer network cards or be connected to the internet and will work with all versions of Max that are supported by the script.  If you choose to donate I'll be more than happy to license multiple computers as well.
