SHORT DESCRIPTION
SpringLink MacroScript lets you link a hierarchy of
objects together using a
Flex-driven Springs.
USAGE
Version 0.1 BETA (12/29/99)
-
Download and evaluate the script.

Customize a Toolbar and drag the SpringLink button from Bobo_s Tools Category
to the toolbar.

Press the button
-
Pick a Child Object - it can be any object except an existing SpringLink
mesh.

Pick a Parent Object - it can be any object except the Child Object or
a SpringLink mesh.

A new SpringLink Mesh object with name "SL_ParentName_ChildName_XX" will
be created

A new Flex Modifier with Flex value 5.0 will be applied to the SpringLink
Mesh.

The Child Object Position track will be set to Position List.

A new Position Script will be added to the List and will read the position
of the one

vertex of the SpingLink Mesh.

You can still animate the Child Object independently by using the original
Position Controller inside the list.
EXAMPLE
In this sample scene, the Sphere is linked to the Box with Flex Value
5.0
The Cylinder is linked to the Sphere with Flex Value 1.0
Only the Box is animated with 3 position keys.
The rest is secondary motion.
