Q: hello...

I've got a problem with my 3ds max..

I've installed 3ds max with network support..now everytime i want to start up 3ds the program wants to dail in on my internet provider..(he is looking for a host...or trying to establish a network connection...or something like that....

now I want to remove the network option...but with uninstalling and re-installing 3ds doesn't solve the problem...?????!

does anybody know how to solve this problem or knows where 3ds saves this kind of information or how I can disable this option inside 3d max itself....

A: There is a switch for the executable (I think it was -n) that disables the network function.
MAX uses the TCP/IP (Internet Protocol) for its network functions. It is not so easy to turn it off in WinNT, so I hope the switch will help.
