Q: How do you make two separate KF scene entries to the video post box?

For example, I've got two different .3DS files (animations) test1.3DS and test2.3DS, both 60 frames long and I want them to run one after the other, so I've set the sequence to 120 frames, loaded up the first one, saved the .VP file and then tried to load up the second one. But although I've got two entries showing in the video post box, when you select edit and click on the entries, they're both the same .3DS file.

I've been going through the tutorial on video post and that's all fine, so I thought I'd got it sussed, but no! What am I doing wrong?

Any help much appreciated!!

(ps thanks to bobo for his help last time - I couldn't email you for some reason?)

A: Maybe you are going the wrong way... VideoPost is used to composite images and filters with the scene, not two scenes. You can:

*Render the first animation sequence, then load the second one, render it too, and then load the ANIMATION files (Flic,TGAs or IFL...) into Video Post one after another.

or

*Set the lenght of BOTH animation to 120, then in the second one go to TrackInfo, select "World" and SLIDE all Keys from 0-60 to start on frame 60. After that you can use File/Merge (^M) to create a single 3DS file consisting of BOTH animations. The first will remain on keys 0-60, the second will start on 60 and end on 120. You don't need Video post for this.
