MCG Parse Quads

This extremely simple MCG will parse though the quads (or tris) of your geometry. You can parse 1 face/quad at a time or grow from the start.

Another one for you mographers I think...(will work on a closed curve too, ie. text)

Ver 1.01.00: Added Reverse option. Reverse Grow however is not working. I'm trying to fix it.

Ver 1.02.00: Reverse Grow now works properly.

Modifier creates realtime topology based weaving geometry.

  • Works on tris/quads/n-gones.

MCG Honeycomb

This MCG creates a honeycomb structure.

Pretty sure you don't need a video for this one. It will appear in Create Panel, not Modifier.

Reality check, $5USD...

Here you can see I've gone in and deliberately deleted some segments so there's a mix of closed and opened curves in a spline....it will still work...

MCG Wire Fence

Creates a simple wire fence with splines

If you want to bend so top meets bottom, bend it to 359, then enable Close...I can't be stuffed finetuning

the last bit to drop the last verts...sorry there's no video as I'd like to save some juice for doing a step by step tutorial for this...but it's pretty easy to use...

at last...put your text on path with absolutely no warping, distortion whatsoever...unlike the PathDeform. What's more...it works for multi curves...but wait there's more...it works for any font including Right to Left languages...but waaaaiiiiit...there's still more, it can reverse your text in a jiffy too...and yes there's still more it's an environment friendly MCG too...it recycles your text !!!!!!!

MCG Simple Braid

MCG to make simple 3 strand braid.

If you want to do the inverted braid (Dutch?)...simply use negative Frequencies...or if you want to bend it 360deg and weld the ends (with an edit spline), use a WHOLE number for Freq.
