A very simple and handy modifier that will turn you high dense mesh into a bounding box, which will save your life if you are dealing with thousands of clones like what happened with me when I was designing my MCG tool (Brick wall builder). So what you have do is just apply this modifier and activate it only in the viewport but in render time it's gonna use the original mesh ;)

Additional Info:

Update 1.1:
I added the ability to convert the subobject elements into Bounding boxes not just the overall mesh.

Well done !

For sure, converting the subobject elements is a useful feature for a lot of projects.
Thank you for that

A very good job :)

It's more than that, Display

It's more than that,
Display as a box only shows you the bounding box cage like a wireframe, while this one creates a real mesh that can be rendered and showed in viewport another thing it has the ability to show the objects' individual elements as boxes not only the overall mesh.
Regads :)
