ShaderFX is a full-featured real-time shader editor for 3ds Max. It allows
artists with no previous programming experience to build complex HLSL
FX shaders for use in Max's viewport and in external game engines.
Note: this is a commercial script

I've used shaderFX before and was very happy with it. But I want to use it again, but can't find a place to download it. Seems the store is closed on lumonix.

Yeah!! Kees and Ben, I'm really loved your ShaderFX, I think this is a wonderful productis and very usefull too, I do not understand how this man does not understand this..

I think curtis is not understanding what this script does or what it might be its purpose - hence the comparison with ephere's beta material editor script.
The problem of insulting the developer ( kees and his great company) while not having a clue seems to be a lack of social skills and a lack of knowledge of basic communication rules at the same time....
so kees... please ignore him and continue your great work ;-)

Not sure what your problem is, since you seem to lack a basic vocabulary, but ShaderFX has been very positively received by game artists using 3dsMax.
(Hence we continue to develop it)

So I guess you work for free all day?
I'm sorry if it offends you that there is a pricetag to shaderFX, but Ben and I both have families that we need to provide for. Plus we put A LOT of time and effort into ShaderFX and so far most people have let us know the price is more then fair.
We do are best for the 3dsMax community and we do give some tools away for free too.
Ben posted shaderFX on the new scriptspot website simply because we are long time fans of scriptspot.
