V-RayMtl Converter 3.0

V-RayMtl Converter - the very useful professional tool for automating such a time-consuming process as converting of materials, maps, lights, cameras, proxy, modifiers etc. from different renderer engines (currently supported: Scanline (Standard), Raytrace, Autodesk Material, Architectural, mrArch&Design, Physical Material, Corona, NVIDIA iray (unofficial), fr-Advanced, Brazil Advanced) to V-Ray, as well as to reverse the conversion of V-Ray materials to Standard materials (which is very useful for game developers, 3d modelers, etc). Since version 3.998, the ability to batch conversion of materials in multiple *.max files has become available.

Free version of Merge and Relink

What do you think about this idea... Merge and Auto-Relink in the same moment ?!

This script can find and Relink new assets during Merge process. All in background so you don't have to do anything.

Easy and fast. It search for missing assets in the closest folders to merged file.

Delete View tabs in slate material editor

General Info: This script is meant to be used with "Show Materials for selected. Just 1 click!" (http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/show-materials-for-selected-ju...) script by rode3d. 

Script action: Script goes through existing view tabs in the slate material editor and if tab name contains "View" text - script deletes it.   "Show Materials for selected. Just 1 click!"  generates lots of new tabs, so my script helps to clear them automatically with one push of a button.

New - External Bitmaps options - drag and drop external images to Resize or Convert to Tx, Exr or Jpg
New - Support for XRef files - drag and drop XRefs to Library Track Relink to Repath assets in XRef
New - Remove Selected Assets
New - Resize to Nearest Power of 2 (256, 512, 1024, 2048 etc)
New - Favorite folder list for Auto-Relink dialog (just drag and drop)

Bitmap Tracking / Resizing... is tool similar to Asset Tracking. But it gives more possibility to work with bitmaps:

- Support for All Assets now
- Sort files by name, image width, height, file size, path, gamma, texture name, status (Found - network, Found -  local, Not found)
- Resize to JPG selected bitmaps to specified size or to Nearest Power of 2
    - can be used to resize and repath selected bitmaps (by size) before sending to external renderfarm,
    - resize bitmaps in large animation sceens to reduce memory ussage,
- Convert... see below
- Change / Rename paths (with paths history and rename path prefix eg. change only server/drive letter)
      * Choose path from history or scene paths
      * Pick new path
      * Rename paths beginng ( drive letter or paths C:\sample\abc\ and rename them to Z:\3d\sample\abc\ )
      * Find and Replace part of paths - supports Regular Extension
- Multi-threaded Auto-Relink with progress dialog

Added: Will Hide all Layers except of the layer of an object allocated, If Esc+button of "Hide Unselected" command pressed.
It works even in sublayers (Thanks to Dmitry Belonosov and Vladislav Bodyul http://www.scriptspot.com/users/bodyulcg)
