yeah, there is such problem.
yeah, there is such problem. The point is for proper work of script you need at least 3 vertexes and pivot point that do not lay on the same surface in 3 dimentional space.
So if you have onefaced planes with centered pivots you should try to move pivots of all this planes in front of them or backwards. It should work for every totaly flat objects.
Problems with certain geometry...
Hi, Loik,
Your script is great and helps me a lot.
The problem zrK wrote about still seems to exist. I have some flat planes (windows) in my current scene where I would like to use your script, but that destroys the geometry of the instances.
Will it be possible for you to create a fix for this problem?
Thank you very much and best regards.

max file
There it is (max 2016 version is it ok ?)
Thanks again !
Sure, send it
Sure, send it
Great tool indeed
Thank you for your answer ! Actually the meshes or not flat, those are "I" shapes like in the screenshot. If any help i can send you the max file ?
The script could cause such
The script could cause such effects when your models are totaly flat like plane or have low number of vertexes. Working on fixing that issue.
Great tool indeed
I'm very happy with your script that helps a lot to clean heavy scenes. I have an issue though, do you have any idea why it produces such bugs on vertex after running it ? (all meshes had a reset XForm applied, converted to editable poly before)
Thanks a lot !
Thank you
Thank you
Best instance script
Very good script , it keeps the transform even if objects had reset xform +1.
