What you said is very correct. In fact, in cgplusplus.com , many friends and I developped scripts all for free, but the scripts are not English. The following time, I will spend more time to translate them to English and upload here with my network name. For MaxAssistant, I was nearly going to crazy to design the UIs, the website, set the hosting, domain, solve online selling. I hadn't considered the accepting price in wide users, so the problems are coming. As a technical staff, I found that I had been far away from the market, but just scripting everyday. I'm realy not good at selling, but I like scripting. So, we can discuss something about technical if you'd like.

I'm glad you take it this way, I really didn't want to seem offensive or such. I wasn't devaluating the work you've on this script neither. Having a little scripting experience myself, and being a bit surrounded by scripters (Cebas beta team), I know very well the time you guys can spend developping tools for the community, and you can all be thanked for that. That being said, defining a fair price for a tool on which you've spent efforts is an hard nut for sure !

I signed up my real name "Leo Wang" for faithful communication. For MaxAssistant, I have spend much of time on it. I really don't want to give it for free, now the price is unreasonable. But after communicating, maybe I know how to set the prices-maybe single digit. Any way, you've taught me something, thank you:)

We're not discussing about your tool being useful or not ... I don't know if you're avoiding on purpose, more or less skillfully, the problem of the PRICE of your MaxAssistant. Because, yes, it's expensive. Look around and check other scripts, some of those being very advanced, and check their price. Then compare to the price you've fixed for MaxAssistant. On my side, it's all clear :)

EDIT: this was written just before your last answer. I don't know if I can really give you an advice on that point though - not selling scripts myself. The few simple ones I've done so far (for finalRender) were just given for free, but it's not a good example.

HI,RappyBMX, I've just viewed RappaTools. It is a nice script. The tools of MaxAssistant come from my ordinary works, my friends, and my colleagues. I know that, any of the functions of my script is very simple to you, but they have solved many work problems. They make ours work much more easily. You may consider to sell your script, and I will be the first customer.

Yes, I totally agree with you, RappyBMX ... the price of MaxAssistant is a no-go for me, and shows an obvious lack of knowledge of the scripts / plugins "market" IMO. I guess I have never been greedy to remunerate scripter's efforts so far, but here ... come on ...
