This error occurs when you tried to install the script or when you try to run it(the installation is OK)? The version of Max 2015(design or not) does not matter.

It is a free script. Download version 1.6 and install it. It have to work on max2014. I did not test it, but tonight i will.

This was my mistake. I forgot to add "and up" after max2012 was released. :)

The i-mode not works in max2011 and up. I wrote it in the description,:

I will change the text, so it will be clear that I-mode does not work on max2011 and up.

I created a box. then I applied edit poly modifier, selected ring of edges, ran your script, enabled interactiv mode, clear and then created one loop. So far so good. But after I wanted create another loop - error occured.

3ds max 2012 64 bit, miauu edgecutter v16 , Windows 7 x64.

Now it works.

dethmond, thank you for showed me this error. The script is fixed. Download ver 1.6 again(it will be downloaded as miauuedgecutter_v16_0.mzp) and try it. :)

I Installed last 1.6 version, but nothing happens after pressing button. I change "silentErrors" from true to false and listener says:

bronius, download version 1.5, unzip the mzp file and open mzp.run with Notepad. You can see where to place files and folders.
$max means max root folder.
Can you tell me your max and OS version?

version 1.6 installs the script in hidden folder. If you want I can tell you here to place files for version 1.6.

Version 1.5 installs, but "--Runtime error: Cannot convert value to bitArray: undefined" message always appeares after second cut in interactive mode: http://imgur.com/E9B78

Version 1.6 installs only if MAX is started "as administrator", but after installing nothing happens when I press "edgeCutter" icon - dialog not opens.

Now it don't work at all.. :( Which install script files must be placed in which dirs? I'm asking because install is not working and I will try to put them by hand.

The problem is not in tma MAX version. I assumed that you have Windows Vista, 7 or 8. The OS is the problem. I will fix the installer later this night and you can install it properly.

I'm getting errors with imode turned on, after placing the first cut and trying to place another cut anywhere in the cutting bar this error comes up

--Runtime error: Cannot convert bitArray: undefined

airbrush, I tested the script on max9 and max2009 and everything works. I will try to reproduce the error and find a solution. :)

anyone else using 2011 that can verify results?

I could not reproduce that error. What I can advice you is to press the Force button before turn On I-mode. The Force button forces the script to use slower algorhythm, but it works in almost every situation.

This is very strange. Can you send mi via e-mail a printscreen image of edge selection that you try to cut.
