Pro Bezier Assist (PBA) is a new and awesome tool that will save animators a lot of time and frustration. Instead of fiddling with Bezier handles in the curve editor you can now work as an artist instead of as a mathematician. Think in terms of where you want the peak velocity, ramp up a segment or create an easy slow down, turn sharp corners into relaxed bends and much more. It will always keep curves free from unwanted bumps, wobbles or hiccups. All this without adding extra keyframes. It can operate on every parameter that is driven by a Bezier controller, so not only transforms but 99% of the animatable modifier and object parameters as well.

Additional Info

Comes with a very intuitive visual feedback tool: “velocity gradient” trajectory mode. It’s the same technology as found in Pro Trajectory Handles, which makes it really easy to see how the velocity and orientation evolve along the course of a trajectory. Besides object animation PBA is really great for doing camera work, it will always create a continuous curve and you have great control of the velocity and flow. Watch the video for a few great examples of how quickly you can create awesome shots. Interface:

Show Orientation Error

NIWO · 2015-11-27

Hello,

I'm getting this error in 3ds max 2015 if I select a camera and click on any axis in the "Show Orientation"-option.

Any idea why this is happening?

You first have to select keys for it to work on. I've added a warning dialog for users who didn't RTFM :)

Nice
