Great Script, it would be nice to adapt it for working with futures versions of max.

2011 Version?

Jan Davidsson · 2011-03-20

It would be great if script got updated to 2011!

MikeMS · 2010-08-06

Hi! Want to thank you for this very good and useful script! But want to ask you to adapt it for MAX 2011! I think it will be very quick and do not take many of your time!
Thanks!

W DIGITAL · 2010-04-20

hey
would love to try it
but the script is missing

MikeMS · 2010-03-18

Thanks! Cool script! I want it long time ago ))
But I notice one very little annoying bug - they does not remember render region window position. When I disable it and then enable again (in RFW with your script button) they apear in default location (position). Can you fix it? Thanks, and sorry my english! ))

Hi
installation of the script is no problem, but whenever i press render, all previously saved images of my render are replaced with the current one, so no comparision is possible (snapshot and external image comparision work)
i am on max 2009.. so, is max 09 still supported?
greetings

Please also put the previous one as the newest isn't working (max 2010 x64). It doesn't open at all :(

My goal behind making this R_buffer was to copy the functionality of Maya and not to make something which is new, thats why the slider is there, The slider issue is solved and now it works fine. the new window that pops up is very challenging and will need more time(there is no method available to control it, I may have to go SDK way)

Thanks it works for now but I think that it is uncomfortable if I want to store Rendered Images...a little dropdown menu would be cool...for example "store rendered Image in Slot: *Drop Down Menu 1-50 or so*...than use the slider to switch between the saved images.

This is just a Idea...I tested it 10 minutes but I had problems to store images correctly because I could understand it lol...

and there is also the slider bug which you mentioned...if using the slider, a new frame opens (you said that it will be fixed)

Hope these Ideas can help to improve because I think that your script would be really useful...I also liked the rendered time info...good work!

dos not work for me...tried with max 2009 x64...there are no UI elements, upper part of Render buffer is completely blank (no icons etc)

bkravi · 2009-12-04

The script is updated and will work with 3dsmax 2009 without any problem. download it again from same link.

fajar · 2009-12-03

OK thank for info, I install 3dsMax 2009 just to try this script ! hehehehe.....but still I got no luck with it!

bkravi · 2009-12-03

Its my mistake, the messege is there for our inhouse use, I will remove it and will repost 2009 version soon.

Fajar - VFB is a new method and is available only from 2009, it is also not available with AVG Gaurd extentions because its new.

fajar · 2009-12-03

keep continue release for new max version, I can't catch up anymore and wont be download or using it......
I think if max 2011 available this script only available for max 2011 only......

Please downgrade your 3dsMax version requirement man!

is it not posible to use AVG extension ?

verticalslicer · 2009-12-03

The lastest version that you updated for Max 2010 throws up a message saying it's not compatible with Max 2009. Can you preserve compatiblity with 2009, please? I'd rather not continue using the old version since you're continuing to make improvements to the UI. Thanks.

bkravi · 2009-11-16

it's for simplyfication, VFB methods are only available with max 2009 and higher, so no chance for max9.

fajar · 2009-11-15

be great if "R_tools" folder in "ui\Icons" folder

Well, I tried it today, I hope it support 3dsMax 9 like you promise in CGS forum, but sad me, it doesnt support! well thaank anyways!!

fajar · 2009-11-15

is this support 3dsMax 9-32bit!
