I don't use 3ds max

I don't use 3ds max anymore.
The script should work under max 2020, if the problem is in the installation file, please install the script to 2020 root dir.'s picture

proxy objects - wire color... shadows / black spots

hi in the wire color with proxy objects i see some kind kind of spots / shadows with vray next and render mask 5.90 also tried the mod...

I have not really understood the solution to this..

Hope there is a fix

FIX (again)

I hope some people will find those addons usefull in the future :)
Render masks through glasses, for example, is for me a huge improvment !
Thanks for your work, and here is a minor fix (there was a bug with groups)

i check this addons a months

i check this addons a months ago and i don't want to add something which is good only for one or two people.
In future i don't want to spend time for this script. For me is good as it is now.

Hello everyone ! here is a fix to the script, including the addons, and fixes for the 2 sides issue and keep opacity issue.


Please Ivan, consider adding those into your future releases !!

Problem with one-sided geometry

Whenever we try to render a mask for a forestpack object, or any other object with on-sided geometry (eg. leaves), all faces with their backside towards the camera are rendered black. This happens only with version 5.9., the older Verion is working fine. Any idea what is causing this? It seems something like "force two-sided" is missing.

Vray next addons

Hi Ivan ! Please please could bring into your new version the modifications that was very usefull : "preserve material objects" button & "don't use Vray VFB" opition ??
If needed i can resend you the modified version of the 5.82 !
I hope this can be doable :)

I encounter also the same problem as Moritz, rendermask doesn't work with single sided polygons !
