- show actual size of selected spline before modify it
- separate x , y and z scales and length...

You need to have spline sub-objects selected for the selection option to work. If none are selected, they are all resized.
Not sure what you mean by 'scale size in unit'.

in fact, it is very cool to give a spline a size (1.2 meters for eg.) and not just double a size that we don't know.
I have archiviz in mind.
