A Script for Replacing Selected Objects with Picked Object , BUT with Group Support .

 

Note : When Replacing Groups its better to be closed .

INSTALL : drop it to max viewport or run it from Scripting Menu/Run Script , You'll Find it in "_My Scripts_" Category .

Script Description

 This script automatically finds objects with the same geometry and turns them into instances. This can reduce RAM consumption, scene file size, and save and open times for a scene. This script will be especially useful when optimizing other people's scenes and 3D models.

 

Blender Scale

3dsMax Script for Appling Scale on Sub Levels Similar to Blender ,

  • Works with Editable Spline, Editable Mesh, Editable Poly Objects .
  • Depends on Current Coordinate Systems , (Coordinate Center not Used) .

UPDATE 1 :

  • Add "Middle" as Center of Scale .

  • Add Support for Edge and Face/Poly

Unhide by Select

This script allows you to unhide hidden objects by selecting them via mouse click or via Select From Scene dialog(H hotkey).

How to use it:
1) run the script - all visible objects will disappear. In the viewport you will see all hidden objects. If the script is assigned as a toolbar button it will stay pressed.
2) select the objects which you want to unhide.
3) run the script again - in the viewport you will see your original visible objects + the objects you have selected.

Bookmarks is a tool to help animators to stay organized.
It is inspired from the bookmarks tool in Maya.

You can quickly create visual bookmarks on scenes or individual objects,
change their color, range, name, comment, link a camera...etc

Then you can use them to navigate your animation, isolate specific time ranges, move/scale keyframes, retime...etc

A script that allows you to speed up the rendering several times, as well as work on adding the CoronaRaySwitch corona material to any object material. You can select one object in a scene to translate material, or the entire scene to translate all materials.

The script has been updated. Several important changes have appeared.

3DS Max Script to Add 2 Vertices on each Selected Vertex by Specific Distance or to All Vertices if no Vertex Selected . Left of the Vertex will be Towered the Previous Vertex . Work on Multi Selected Shapes .
