hi, I'm playing with the script... it's nice, but I have to wait for the vray shader to test foam..
by the way... do you will ad a function to make the wave looks more natural? Like in the attached image.

Honestly, i don't like this ways to get the foam, but it's better than nothing to start the R&D ;) We definitely would like to make something much more accurate.

Of course we're going to add at least one shader ;)

That sounds good. Tested your script yesterday too and the results are quite good. Sure, it would be much more better if you implement the hollermersch algorithm...but dont know how familiar with maxscript/c you are.

I also looked at the foam generation but its not so precise...I am sure you will fix many things in future releases :)

Hope you integrate some shaders for the next release...maybe 1-2 shaders, just for testing. For the Vray Shaders you also can use the Material converter...but dont know how precise it is.

I know about the red brackets, some are working other not. Sometimes the function works sometimes not..................

Ok, i can make it less sensitive.

 

Vray shaders will come later ;)

We have to finish the MR first and find a good way to generate the foam. ( it's actually a pain in the ass   lol )
