I recently released a new script called 'gizmoControl'.

While I think the script can be very useful, the names used and my explanations might be suboptimal and therefore, I'll try to better explain what use this script can be.

Hello everyone,

I am brand new to Ruby Scripting in SketchUp and Ruby scripting in general, but I managed to throw together a script after an hour or so of searching through the mysterious Sketchup Ruby Scripting API documentation. Anyways, all the things I really want the API to do don't seem to be possible.

At last there's an update for the Max exporter Very Happy

This update adds quite a few changes:

- fixes a bug with incorrect scaling of instances

- fixes a bug with instanced materials not always being recognized

Sharing one's own work here is a great idea for getting scripts/plugins out to the people who need them.  It's a way to build exposure and help the 3d community.

Sharing a link to a script you have found useful to your workflow is also a great way to help the community.

Some CSS refinements today...

Today I spent the afternoon going over the CSS files and refining some of the site details - like font size / weight / color sitewide. I think everything looks much better. The old site had such large text I would typically use the Firefox hotkeys to resize the text down a notch. This should suit everyone much better.
