To Install: 1- Extract the file, you'll see a .mzp file named: Multiple_sections_v1.0.mzp 2- Drag the mzp file into Max's viewport. A window will show up telling you the script is installed 3- Go to Customize menu, Customize User Interface, Toolbars tab, in the Category look for MiRi-Tools category 4- Click New... to create a new toolbar, name it as you like, presse Ok, Drag the script named Multiple_sections to the new toolbar button. Now you can place it on the main toolbar. Description: This plugin allows the user to create multiple 2D sections on the 3 axes The script has many options to control this operation, like the number of sections, the spacing between sections, offset the start of the operation, flip the axis so that, for example, if you choose the Z axis, flipping means the creation of the sections will begin from top to bottom, also you have the option to Weld the vertices(Please save your file before using Weld, in case you have a huge amount of vertices, because it might take a long time. You can press Escape to interrupt the operation) The script offers other parameters that allow the user to just specify the spacing (Auto Count) and let the script calculate the number of sections, or, to specify the count (Auto Spcacing), and let the script figure out the spacing. The script has a button to delete all sections created by the script, and a button to select all sections created by the script. The script can be used freely for personal and commercial projects.
