Convert Dummy Object into Light Object.

Is there a possibility to convert the properties of Dummy Objects into Light Objects?

I ask because I have create a 3D Scene with Manipulators those affect to multiple Dummy Objects. Manipulators change the position of the Dummy objects with linked other objects. Now on "Manage Scene States" I wanted to create different States. These States, I wanted to insert into "Batch Render" Dialog. The Problem is, that Scene States save no Positions of Objects or Dummy Objects. But it saves Light Positions over the Part "Light Transforms".

Why don't you try Assembly Manager
Max Sun and Daylight systems are assembly. Also U need to use custom attributes to define some parameters

We already disscus on this forum about old Scene State (max2012-). Transform can't be stored for sure. But you can create states (transform presets) using this tool by Dave Stewart http://www.keyframesandcode.com/code/development/maxscript/transform-pre...

I have stored all my transform presets in the manipulators. The Script by Dave Stewart makes basically the same. The problem is that you do not get these presets in the Batch Render Dialog. The Batch Render accepts only the States from the "Scene States".

I'll try to rebuild everything with Light-Dummys.

When I use the Assenmbly

When I use the Assenmbly Manager, the position is still not saved. It looks as the State store only the position of single Light 0bjects.

I have tried to use some light objects (for example omni light). If this light object are parent of other objects the state save the position (light and object). If i link the light to an Dummy object, it does not store the position. If I group the lights and objects it does not store positions of the light. When i link the group to an Dummy it does not store the position of the light. If I assembly the lights and objects it does not store the position of the light...
