Helpers X-Axis constraint on a spline. NOT Path-Constraint

Hi all,

i was wondering if there is already a script or you have a simple solution for the following:

i have 20 helpers in a row and i want them to to be aligned and constraint on the X-Axis. I know it would be possible to do a timeconsuming workaround with a pathconstraint. But to put every helper on the path and push the keys to the new position is not the solution i am aiming here :-)

I hope someone got a solution! thanks so much in advance!
