Include Xrefs with 'Include Maps'

I'm hoping someone can create a script, I suppose a script that works in the pre-render script loader, that will do what the previous 'include maps' function did. It now does not include Xrefs (even though the help file in 2011 and 2012 says it does). Can someone figure out a script that will send the whole thing when including maps? The archiver in Max still includes Xrefs so if that helps anyone with a script, it's my two cents.
