nope, it's just a way to get Paint Selection Region activated whereas I kinda need to switch between Rectangular and Paint Selection Region respectively. In other words, it's like the Cycle Selection Method command but i need it to cycle only between Rectangular and Paint Selection Region skipping the rest - simple as that.
Why i don't want to use the standard Cycle Selection Method i've already explained to pixamoon.
thanks for the comment though
Cycle Selection Method - Rectangular and Paint only

Try this. See attached...
Just drag and drop to max.
To add shortcut look in category Pixamoon.
You can apply the same Ctrl+F if you don't need other selection methods.
It will switch only between Rectangular Selection and Paint.
Thank you Miauu for directions :)
Cheers,

Thank you.

yes, i know that but there are other selection styles that i almost never use. Besides, when you need to quickly cycle selection methods it's very easy to get to the wrong one and in that case you'd have to cycle back again which is very annoying. So i thought such a quick tool would be useful occasionally.

ah, now i understand what you mean, sure it can be done by script. Will take a look on it later
so you want to loop paint and rectangular selection methods only, oki oki

hmm,
But Ctrl+F is not good ?
I mean shortcut for standard "Cycle Selection Method"
