If you don't like the default position of the V-Ray frame buffer, or, if for some reason you lost the VFB and it's not appearing on your screen, this video will show you how to control the X and Y coordinates of the VFB on the screen.

3DS Max Numerical Expression Evaluator

Whenever you have a numeric field in 3DS Max, you can use a nice little feature called Numerical Expression Evaluator. Just click inside that field and press CTRL+N to open Numerical Expression Evaluator Dialog.
