hair and fur crop script

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody on this forum knows of script for 3ds max 9 for cutting the hair and fur modifier with another mesh for example:

I have hairy humaniod character (which is covered in the hair and fur modifier) and I want to place a shirt on it, is there a script that will crop/cut the hair when it attempts to go thru the mesh of the shirt, hence no hair pokes thru the shit. The dynamics system in the modifier (the way its ment to be done) is just no good.

Any help would be great,
