Paid Script Job - Render to Texture
can someone write a script that render to texture, renders out a normal map? flat fee is 150$.
2 objects in scene, low_mesh and high_mesh. low mesh has proper uvs on channel 1, render to texture dialog, add projection map, add high_mesh as sub object, add normal map 2048x2048, then render out a proper normal map with the information from the high object on there.
I have attached some code where its "sort of working" but it does not render out any information, do this test with a sphere with some bevel insets and test to see if the normal map high poly information is transferring. the normal map this script puts out is blank, but by opening render to texture and hitting render manually it actually renders out the correct one, that added step needs to be automated out.
thanks,
-Zeke

Substance painter is a much better deal
I hate to say this but $150 is half a day of my time and not enough to fix an issue unless its really simple
On the plus side
For $150 you can buy either substance designer or substance painter. Either of those packages will by far out perform anything I could write.

Why not just use standart
Why not just use standart render to texture tool?
What's wrong with it?
