everybody wants correct Mirror tool? have an idea!

standard max's Mirror tool needs to invert normal after mirroring so we're have to use this script to fix it - http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/mirrornormalfixer, but unfortunately it collapse source object which is not good in some cases
here i found best way to mirror objects - illustration is attached.
would be great if anyone could script it as 3 macros (for X, Y and Z)

Try the attached script.
Did you think about the Mirror modifier ? It doesn't flip the normals, neither makes a negative scale. Just a suggestion...
