Need help: animating vertices from external data?

Hello,

I'm a script noob and I desparately need some help getting started. I have created a mesh (one frame, 70 vertices) from motion marker data for measuring the volume of an object. I'd like to create additional frames from the motion data and measure the change in volume over time. Is there a way to move the vertices automatically based on the external data file? The motion (frame, XYZ) data has been converted to standard CSV format. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
