Shortcut to Highlight Selected Object's Layer

This seems like it would be a such a simple thing but I can't seem to find the right command. I'm trying to create a shortcut to "Highlight Selected Object's Layer" in the layer manager (Max 2014).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know how to make the Macro, just don't know the right command for this. Also, if you figure it out, can you explain how you found (or knew) the correct command?

Thanks in advance!

Yeah I still can't find it.

Yeah I still can't find it. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about though (in the Layers dialog box).

SUCCESS!

A friend of mine at work created it and... turned out to be pretty simple (2 lines of code)! Here it is! Drag it into your max window and you can find it in the "Custom" category.

Try: Open Float rollout

Try:

Open Float rollout "Layer" (right click on the toolsbar > layer)and click right on icons "Select object in current Layer".
Choose "Edit Macro Script" to see the script solution for highlight selected object...

Thanks for the reply! Yeah I

Thanks for the reply! Yeah I found those commands but still can't find the one to "Highlight Selected Object's Layer" (to highlight the layer that the objects are on). This button is located in the "Manage Layer" dialog box.

Still searching for this one :/
