Extrude and preserve UVs

Is there a script or function in max equivalent to Maya's Bonus tools to preserve uv's while extruding and inserting polygons?

hint ... little try with

hint ...

little try with box....

create box ---> convert it to editable poly ---> apply texture --> apply uvw box ---> apply box as uvw [set it correct] ---> back to editable poly and add some modify to its face or whateveer---> when done set it back to uvw mapping ---> bla..... easy....

Cant believe i missed that !

But What about on objects that are curved and and already UV unwrapped?
