MCG QuadMidpoint/Normal Compound

This compound returns the midpoint of a quad. Yes, it's finally here....it's what everyone has been crying out for !!! Note that it treats 2 tris as a quad...so if your mesh has tris in it...I'm not a miracle worker....

But this is the Holy Grail of MCG...a friggin' Quad !!! Yes, Baz Lurhman should make a movie about this...Quadzilla !!! alright alright, I've had my fun...let's get back to work...

MCG R Clone JC

This is a clone I created based in the one I uploaded yesterday but I added a Radial Clone parameter to it based on Vusta's MCG Clone Radial. He deserves the credit for the Radial clone part of the modifier!!!!!

MCG Randomize Elements

Pretty basic modifier to randomize mesh elements, the difference from the existing ones is the possibility to specify an upnode, which serves as a reference system for all the transformations. That means that XYZ rotation are then parallel with the object's axes, same with translation and scale.

MCG RandomRotateMeshes Compound

This compound is for random rotation of meshes (array). Currently, randomization would rotate one direction only (either positive or negative)...absolutely hate OneDirection !!!! So use your maxtool to call this compound for true randomization, ie. if you want to rotate randomly up to 10degs, then it actually does from -10 to +10degs Please note this requires compound CacheValue from the Sample Pack so you should install that. It also requires compound Remap from here: http://cganimator.com/mcg-blendedboxmapping-modifier/ So you'll have to thank Changsoo or Peter Blackearth for it.

MCG Renderable Points

No the question isn't WHY...but rather WHY NOT all these years. Since there's RenderableSpline, why not Points ?

Then can be found in Modifier dropdown list. It will work on Mesh/Splines, even if your mesh consists of all isolated verts...there's no requirements for proper 'polys'.

MCG RescaleUV

This MCG will rescale your existing UV (to help someone with export engine workflow).

Please note: if you apply an Unwrap UVW modifier above this to see changes, if you go back down the stack and change Vu_RescaleUV....in the Unwrap UVW you'll have to 'reload' by changing the map channel, it will ask you to Move or Abandon, select Abandon, then you'll see the effect.

MCG Ring Dots aka Dot Matrix

Creates rings of dots or holes...ie..can be used for speaker patterns, showerheads, brushheads...etc..

Ver 1.01: added Height Offset and ability to use Custom Closed Spline for Stock. This can be used in either Dots or Holes mode.

Rings for the mographers. Based on my VenetianBlind mcg, use this with a Bend to create rings of all sorts. Go nuts !!!

Combined with MultiSlicerRot

A user requested this...so here it is...simple RPM controller.

Note: it works in Rev Per Minute, so it does not matter if you work in NTSC, PAL or whatever...

 

Ver 1.01: added Revs mode for the Revheads. This will spin your object N times for whatever the animation range is...Start time does not have to be at 0...
