MeshManager combines a powerful scene explorer with a mesh asset manager in order to simplify and speed up the process of creating and modifying a scene in 3D Studio MAX. This is a commercial script that is't still in the beta stage. For a similar script oriented towards materials, check out MatManager .
Here's my version of LOD creation script, it uses multiRes modifier. It works on multiple geometry and retains the geo type. It retains the skin modifier too, so you can run on a skinned character as well. Feel free to use this script and lemme know if you want me to add any feature to it or if it has any bugs.
Converts your object(s)'s UV-Map to an Editable Poly or Mesh, also supports the creation of a "Bakingplane" to enable a faster workflow for planar highPoly modeling.
