My latest tool creation ‘Tubular’ allows users to create an array of circular/square objects. Available on my website JokerMartini.com In my example videos you will see that I create nearly a dozen different types of screw/bolt heads as well as the threading. This tools allows users to endlessly create objects which its built in Section list. Feel free to add a dozen sections and then go back and fourth adjusting each section as desired. With this tool you can create: bolts, screws, nuts, hour glasses, skirts, donuts, pencils, tubes, cylinders and much much more. Take it one step further and apply a path deform to Tubular and create some very organic shapes. I look forward to seeing what you guys can create with this tools. Feel free to share your renders by emailing them to me and I’ll place them on my website. Enjoy!

Excellent Tool

Just started using this script/plugin, but found it very impressive, once I got a workflow figured out. Fantastic not only for screws and bolts, but a useful tool for quickly "lofting" complex, linear objects parametrically, without the need to mess around with time-consuming compound objects and splines. I found it great so far for quickly kit-bashing objects like swords, bottle caps, and architectural pillars. Or objects that normally you would think to lathe, but may want that extra control over the complexity of the object's profile; like a modern geometric vase. Another great contribution, John, and something Autodesk should consider incorporating natively into the tool-set for future releases of Max. Nothing buggy about it yet. Just found myself wishing, more times than not, that the initial segment was generated automatically.
