Script looping through selected objects of your scene to hide unwanted edges in editable meshes (typically the middle triangles of surfaces).

This script was created to improve the visibility of models imported from Revit into 3ds Max via the FBX file format.

Great script and I find it

Great script and I find it useful for me working with imported CAD data, which comes in as editable meshes. I do notice that sometimes the script destroys smoothing groups on the imported meshes. I am not sure why it does that.

Sorry, I revamped my site

Sorry, I revamped my site and now switched to a more solid publishing system. The link there to stay for good.

The script is also updated to support instances nicely (thanks to Chris Johnson for this)

Pierre Where did the link

Pierre

Where did the link go? I was at John Shulters class for AU this year and he plugged this script crediting you. It was an amazing script that would be very beneficial to our VizGroup here. I hope it gets posted again!

Thanks for all your work and research!

Good script. Really helps

Good script. Really helps "deuglify" Revit models.

My only suggestion (if you want it) would be to make it a macroscript since some people wouldn't realize they could drag the code up to the menubar to create a button... Actually, one more thing - a progress bar would help on large Revit files (most of the time our Revit models have about 20k objects) where the script might take a while to execute...

Thanks!
Chris
