This is a script that I modified to convert a shell material to a standard material. I had been using some other scripts, but they were not working for me.

This has been invaluable for texture baking purposes. It's worked flawlessly for me every time. Now my textures can transfer to other applications with no errors.

Let me know if it's working for you all also.

Thanks!

Thanks! I'm glad it was helpful.

I really have no idea with scripts and it was kind of luck that I got it to work for me!

In any case, thanks for noticing those errors...good to know.

Shell converter to standard

Thanks, I thing will be usefull for Real time in VRML. The problem is that your new standard material has the map in chanel 3. In Real time, you need to have it in Chanel 1. Ok, I did it manually. Later you have to use the chanel info utility in order to change in the object the chanel 3 by chane 1. To do it, object by object will be hard. And to group in a big object will produce a very big size bitmap. So the way is to change chanel 3 by chanel 1, object by object. Like this, you will navigate in Real Time with shadows in softwares like Octaga Player.(Tested) Anyway it is helpfully thank you very much dgilberto
