02/06/2009 this script copyes uv data from one uv channel to another. and this script was written to aid exporting objects to cinema4d for painting (as cinema4d does not support multiple uv channels in the way 3dsmax does). so you need to copy your uvs to the first channel and then export.

Needs to support all geometry. . . . . . .
I was thrilled to see that this script existed.
Unfortunately, when I tried it, it only supported some objects. It would not copy the UVW channels for lines or rectangles that had been extruded. It would be great to have a script that would do the copy/paste for all geometry, rather than a small sub-set.
If there is any way to make this happen, I would love to hear about it.
