I have modified the amazing script HDR dome light from Chris Subagio and now it works in Max 2009;
also, I have added some new features, and now it works OK if you link it to a moving object.

It uses Spot lights with Shadow Map, so it´s very fast, about 7 seconds the renders I have attached
in a Quad Q6600 2´4Ghz.

But it has a little problem: if there are many dome lights in the same scene linked to many moving
objects, the global illumination has changes along the time, with brighter and darker frames.

This is not always, only sometimes.

would someone like to take a look at it? If you feel like and time...

If it could be possible to automatically stop the render and start it again in every frame, this
could not happen. This only happens when rendering sequences; if I render the frames manually, one by
one, the render is OK.

I think that dome light is one of the better solutions to have very good illumination in 3D without
having very long render times...

In this dome light object (you can find it at the Standard Primitives rollout!), you can apply a material
with a bitmap or gradient...at the Ambient map, and it takes the pixel colour for making the lights.

sorry for my bad English, I´m from Spain and I don´t speak it so well as I would!
