Description
Additional Info
NOTE: If you are using max 6/7 you should look at getting the complete Meshtools 3.0 / CS Polytools package that comes in ONE easy to download / install MZP package.
For detailed instructions on how to actually use Meshtools check out Michael Plaengsken's detailed tutorial here or the archive on ScriptSpot.
Includes the following geometry changing tools:
- Flatten
- Divide Edge 2 -3 -4
- Connect 1 -2 -3
- Erase Vertex
- Tighten
- Inset
2.5 Update Adds:
- Soft selection toogle
- Ignore backfacing toogle
- Show end result toogle
- Surface Select (selects polys - connected to current poly selection with matching matIDs)
- SpinEdge (like edge turn in emesh... but look out - with funky topology - the turning edge can run 'away')
- SolidChamfer (like the normal edge chamfer - but this keeps the original edges also. Look out - it doesn't make good mapping coords like normal chamfer. maybe in a future version)
- MultiBevel (make a bevel operation on ONE poly - rotate it along x-y-z - then repeat this automatically (interactively). funny tool - try it ;)

I just dropped by to say thank you. :)
The connect-1 script is still the only one available and working. Almost ten years have passed, and counting....
