Tx preview
Hi, that's just simple script + .reg file to enable Tx previews in windows
After running it:
- Tx files can be opened in any image viewer program
- enable Tx as window Thumbnails or Icons
If you still don't see Thumbnails in windows - please try to clean thumbnail cache:
- go to "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer" and delete all .db and .etl files
or use one of those methods:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/10797-thumbnail-cache-clear-reset.html
It just simply write those values to windows registry:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.tx]
"PerceivedType"="Image"
"Content Type"="image/TX"
@="Parsifal.Program"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.tx\ShellEx]
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.tx\ShellEx\{e357fccd-a995-4576-b01f-234630154e96}]
@="{C7657C4A-9F68-40fa-A4DF-96BC08EB3551}"
Requirement:
- Has to be run by Admin user - only Administrator user can change registry.
Cheers,
Pixamoon

Great!
You beat me, I wanted to publish in the coming days the same solution
. Anyway +1.
By the way, if some one didn't know .tx it is .tiff format. I looking solution open it in photoshop (сс) without changing filename extension.
