Hi there, great script! Is this any way of locking this to a particular viewport i.e. the camera viewport. It would be great to do that so you could record the progress of a scene without it flicking between the different views

Wow! I had not thought of this advice!
Now I will try your suggestions into a new script to see the final result... I think I update the script :)
Thanks again harumscarum
here i have some suggestions
here i have some suggestions which make script essential for everyday screenshoting:
1. add OUTPUT FOLDER option (if field not filled - make //PROJECT FOLDER/SSHOTS by default)
2. filename field - would be prefix of image name
3. if POSTFIX active - with each news capture _001,_002 adds to filename
4. and finally would be great to have hotkey for CAPTURE IMAGE in max customize
5. could also all settings listed above be saved in max file even after restart?
and thank you very much for efforts!
Thanks and great idea

great script thank you!
could i ask for one improvement - for "video capture" add capture image on viewport update. this would be great to capture sequence of images when previewing heavy animation where "Real Time Playback" must be off.
