Merge maxfile from specific path

hello everyone,
First of all, i am very new to maxscripts.

Since we have lot of folders and files on network, it is pain to merge for a selected one every time from bunch of directories. so i just want to cut that time off and make it easier for others to merge stuffs in no time.

I could merge a single file directly using
mergemaxfile "file path\file.max"

but i want to open up the merge file dialog window with specific path already selected in "Look In" rollout. or similar.
