problem to keep vertex selected

hello
I did a little script to "project" selected vertexes along 2 clicked points on a designed surface. But I would like to keep the vertexes selected.
I know : create a array of the selected vertexes and at the end reselect this array... but I don't know how.... if anyboby can help.
