Script to change object properties?

Hi scripters,
I have a request for a simple but maybe very helpful script...

I am trying to make a script that will change the currently selected Object Properties....Display Properties.....to By Object....Display as Box.

Can anyone provide some help with this? It would be a big help.

This is in fact already built into Max as a macroscript. You can go into Customize UI and then search for "Box Mode Selected Toggle" and add it to a quad/menu/toolbar.
