camera that follows animated objects

hello every one

i need script that auto create camera that following an animated object

it allows the user to pick his animated object
then create camera thet follows it

Could you maybe be more precise. Should the camera focuse on the animated object? Should the scripted camera be linked onto your animated object? Would you like the camera in a fixed distance to your object and fixed values for focal lengths and angles?
