Grid slicer

Hello,
I'm looking for a grid slicer modifier, or MCG, or c++ :-)
there is a good script doing this but it is not a modifier.
If somebody can do this, it would be great !!!

There's also VolumeSlice modifier as a part of the keyhydra package.

If the script can works with Edit POly modifier then your problem is solved. If it can't, then edit the code(if it is open soirce). :)
