I have an animated camera with a look at constraint to a helpber. I would love to have a script that creates a camera that will be aligned on all axis to the already existing camera every 5th frame and set a keyframe for a certain framenumber. It is very important that there will be keyframes since its going to be used for importing it into fusion.

I have made a small script that creates a new camera following the first camera. I should work even if you have special setup with a free camera and a lookat controller or many controllers.
I gueess that you are then exporting the camera as a .ase via file/export that you can import into fusion.
I have made and tested this script in 3dsmax 2009, it might work ok in older versions but it is not 100% certain.

To install:
Just drag n drop the script onto 3dsmax or choose /maxscript/run and browse to this script.
after it is run you can go to customize/customize user interface...
under category choose:
OS3D-Scripts
You should have a script called:
OS3D - Create a keyframed camera
add this to a toolbar or menu.
