Align pivot based on longest edge´s object

I guessing if there a way to align a pivot based on longest edge of an object like attachment.

Hi,
I need a very simple script rollout that has 2 buttons and one label.
By clicking on the first button one can pick one single point and by pressing second button the next point and after selecting both points the distance between the 2 points will be shown in a label in the rollout.
I would really appreciate your help.

UV-Real World scale

Hello, i am have issue to scale Unwrapped uv to Real world scale on 3Ds Max.And try scaling Manually by applying checker textures map but doesnt work. I dont find any method or script to do this task. Currently i am scale using Headus UVlayout.

Hello guys, i searched a lot and didnt find any solution, tried morph utils script, but i just can instance the both objects, i like to fuse in just one mesh to export to unity 3d.

snap zoom lag...

Hi there to all readers.. :)

I am facing a problem in heavy scenes
Whenever I zoom while snap is on the scene/viewport/3ds max freezes...
This happens ONLY when move tool is selected and snaps are on.

I dont know if this has been solved or not.. but here is a workaround I thought about..
Do correct me if I am wrong..

The script should do the following -
Switch to "Select Tool" on "zoom in/out start" and switch back to move tool on "zoom in/out stop".
OR - in layman's terms -

Bitmap Rename

Hi,
I am looking for a piece of code to batch rename textures and inputs:
-batch change eg.map->CoronaMix, map->CoronaNormal, map->Output etc.
-map input name to texture name (it could be lowered case only)
